The Telemetry nurse manager is an experienced nurse leader who will oversee a 40 bed, progressive, telemetry unit with 60 FTEs , and have 24-hour accountability for operational and fiscal performance, as well as quality and safety outcomes.  S/he is expected to cultivate an engaged nursing workforce demonstrating accessibility, visibility and ability to facilitate improvement and drive outcomes.  The nurse manager is joining a dynamic nursing leadership team with strong values for exceptional nursing practice, interprofessional collaboration and patient/family centered care. There is a dedicated professional development team in place including a telemetry nurse educator.

Lawrence General Hospital is a 186 bed regional hospital with accredited interventional cardiac program, level 3 trauma center, strong surgical program and the fifth busiest Emergency Department in the state.


Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Nursing Master’s degree preferred

At least 5 years leadership experience in an acute care setting, demonstrated leadership and experience working in a nursing professional governance model. Previous nursing management experience required with progressive responsibility.

A minimum (5) years of staff RN experience in an acute care setting with telemetry experience preferred.

Relevant clinical, leadership and/or performance improvement certifications
